Surrey Green Burials are pleased to announce that we are going into partnership/supporting local charities. We will be donating 10% of our professional fee to the charity you choose from our list. You can book a funeral plan in advance with Golden Charter, or you can book a funeral with us.

How do I book a funeral plan and choose Surrey Green Burials as my funeral director?

Before you book your funeral plan with Golden Charter, you will need to know your membership number, (if you do not have a membership number then please tell Golden Charter which charity you would like to support.) As Golden Charter, will need to inform Surrey Green Burials.

To Book a Funeral Plan with Golden Charter:-

1. Call Golden Charter 0808 090 2495 and quote Surrey Green Burials.

2. Once you have completed the steps to book your funeral plan with Golden Charter, you will need to inform them which Charity you would like to support, and you will need to provide them with your membership number if you have one.

3. Golden Charter will then notify Surrey Green Burials that you have chosen them as the funeral director and the charity you would like to support.

4. When your funeral has taken place and payment has been received in full to Surrey Green Burials. Surrey Green Burials will notify the charity and donate 10% of their professional fee from your funeral plan to them.

How do I book a funeral with Surrey Green Burials funeral director, If I don’t have a pre-paid funeral Plan?

Before you call Surrey Green Burials about a funeral, you will need to know your membership number as you will need to give it to Surrey Green Burials. If you don’t have a membership number, then just let us know which charity you would like to support.

If I already have a funeral plan with Golden Charter or a different funeral plan provider, can I change my funeral director to Surrey Green Burials, and will there be a charge for doing this?

Yes, you can change your funeral director to Surrey Green Burials if you already have a funeral plan booked. There is NO FEE for making this change, this is completely FREE. You will simply need to get in touch with Golden Charter to make this amendment on your plan.

What is the professional fee?

The professional fee is the charge made by Surrey Green Burials for providing their professional services. The fee covers the cost of the conveying of the deceased, use of a hearse, and the arrangement of all necessary paperwork.
