A proportion of each green burial plot sale is placed into an Independent Trust Fund in order to provide funds to secure the long-term preservation and maintenance of the woodlands. The lease is held by the Forestry Commission whose objective is to promote the long-term sustainability of English woodland.

The park is managed as a haven for wildlife and the regeneration of native woodlands. Specialised management techniques have been developed to incorporate the burial process within a long-term plan to restore and extend native woodlands.
